The stocks that I keep a watch for, and the start of this blog

2025-05-19

Well, may as well start recording my thoughts on the stocks that I keep an eye on and make sure I have around $5 in or so.

There's a variety of reasons why I picked these stocks: most of the time, if there's no observable reason, then it's just because I felt like picking it. That covers the "why the hell did he pick that worthless stock?" question.

I don't know which stocks will be good or not; I am just watching them, thinking about what the market psychology is, and also bringing awareness to at-the-least my thought process to these stocks.

We don't know why the analysts do what they do. As such, I hope to capture my thoughts and bring some perspective since I don't think you or they know what you/they are doing, either.

...

I do have access to Morningstar reports on stocks via Robinhood Gold.

I use both Robinhood and Webull for my trading of stocks.

Robinhood is nice for variable fractional shares, the ability to trade crypto (they are just stores of value, nothing more), and an easier interface.

Webull looks more like a professional view of stock trading and, as such, the user interface makes it difficult to do things as quickly as I can on Robinhood; as such, I try to not trade as much on Webull and, instead, keep those stocks either the same quantity or add to them. Selling on Webull is a pain in the butt.

Essentially, with stocks, you own a part of the company as a shareholder. While some shares may not be "voting" shares, you still "own" a part of the company (I imagine).

As such, why not take care of your shares that you invest in and be in contact with investor relations or other ways so as to help the company you invested in do a better job of managing your money in their daily job routine such that your portfolio makes more money than leaving it merely in the hands of hedge fund managers?

Right now, that's the list that I work from. Probably not the best way to utilize my time but, like, at least it keeps me busy when I work with stocks. Also, it delays any action such that I can do something with one sector of my stocks whereas the other sectors can be hands off while there is volatility that may spook me.

"Don't keep your eggs in one basket", sure, but sometimes don't overfill your basket if you are trying to move it.

My "basket" stays stuck on the ground so, well, I can stuff it as full as I want but it just gets troublesome when trying to analyze what is in it. lol.

As such, I hope to pull out each "egg" in my "basket" and analyze it, henceforce.
